Why are we doing this?
The primary mission of the OfficeAutomated software is to save time for Business owners and Managers. The new task manager brings 3 capabilities to the software heretofore unavailable.
Projects, Tasks and To do lists.
Projects can contain tasks, subtasks and To do lists
Tasks can contain sub tasks and To do lists
And finally, To do lists can be used all by themselves.
The following screenshots and explanations will provide additional information.

Tasks Dashboard
Here with the left hand navigation we can access this dashboard which shows new tasks assigned, urgent tasks (defined as those tagged urgent and those due today) and your active project milestones. Projects can be accessed via the colored buttons in the left hand navigation.

Each task has the ability to leave comments. So users can communicate about a task directly from that task. New comments will show using the comments icon as well as from the all tasks screen.

All tasks
The 'All tasks' view allows a user (depending on permissions) to access your own tasks as well as tasks of other users. Filters can be used to show tasks from certain users as well as tasks that are 'in progress' or 'not started' Tasks with the colored stripe on the left side correspond to tasks that belong to a 'project.'

View task
With this view we can see a task with all of it's details. Most useful is the comments area which allows users to comment about the task status as appropriate. To Do lists can be created or modified and sub tasks can be created as well.

To do lists
Sometimes users just need a place to jot down small things to get done on any given day. Furthermore, sometimes a task can be broken into To do lists. This section is where you see all of your To do lists. To do lists that are associated with a task have that 'task name' as the name of the To do list. Otherwise To do lists can be renamed by the user. As items are completed, the to do list will update the progress. Items can also be prioritized by dragging and dropping the To do list item higher on the list.

Projects are more complicated and milestones can be set up to ensure consistent and predictable progress is made with the project. Users will have the ability to create and monitor project milestones to keep your project moving forward toward completion.
